Freedom Trail by taxi and picked up where we left off yesterday. Our first stop was at the Boston National Historical Park The Charlestown Navy Yard. This is under the control of the National Park Service. For years nothing was done to update it but now a rather massive project is underway to do a lot of restoration, new sewer line and all that sort of infrastructure. There is a Museum here which is very nice a covers a lot of interesting historical facts. Permanently docked here is a destroyer and the main attraction The USS Constitution ( Old Iron Sides. ) Of course neither of these ships is open on Monday.

Bunker Hill is the end of the Freedom Trail and we walked back down to the Navy Yard and caught a cab to go back to the Motel where we checked out, loaded Lady Blue and hit the road for North Hampton, Mass to look at Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library and Museum
which is located on the campus of Smith College. His Library and Museum is located in two room of the college library. He donated all his papers to the college.

We just returned from an excellent meal at Red Lobster and we are all tired so I suspect we will be turning out the light shortly. Tomorrow we plan to head for Philadelphia, PA. It has been a wonderful day so as I always say remember God loves you and so do I.
