University of Cincinnati Graduation/4/26/2014

OK, as I said on Face Book, I'll just tell you right up front that I am one very proud Grandpa today. Yesterday my two local grand children Mike & Lisa Bosken graduated from the University of Cincinnati. Yea, they made it. The commencement ceremony was held in Fifth Third Arena where the Cincinnati Bear cats play basketball. There was a morning ceremony and an afternoon ceremony. Mike & Lisa were in the afternoon ceremony. The place was packed. Santa J. Ono, UC President made several remarks and the Commencement Address was delivered by Her Excellency, Tebelelo Mazile Seretse. Ambassador Of The Republic Of Botswana To The United States. The following are a few photographs of this great event.

By the time I got home it was eight PM and I was dead tired. I watched the Cincinnati Reds playing the Atlanta Braves for a while and reintroduced my head to my pillow.

As I always say Remember God loves you and so do I.

  1. I am just now getting around to commenting on your blog, I am sorry. These are great shots! Both Mike and Lisa have matured very nicely! I do like Mike's new haircut! Don't tell him but he is looking like his Dad in the shot at the table. I know the two Graduates are glad it is finished and their parents are probably even more relieved they are both finished. Now the real heavy lifting begins. It was wonderful that you were there to share in this moment in their lives!
    Love you all,
    Janice
