This is a view of the exterior of the Ark on my third visit and shows a new ramp from the door of the Ark to the ground. The Bible gives no specific information about such a ramp but speculation is it is likely like a ramp that the Noah, his family and the animals would have used to enter and exit the Ark. This view of the Ark is near the visitor's entrance into the Ark and a short walk from the area near where the buses from the main parking lot bring you. Here you can rent wheel chairs, scooters and buy some snacks and get general information as well as rent lockers.
This posting covers part of my second visit to see the recreation of the life size Ark that Noah constructed following the instruction given to him by God. General views throughout the Ark were covered in post # 1. The living quarters were covered in posting 2. Posting 3 covers the display on the third deck and covers just the Flood display. Post Number 4 covers the display about the Ice Age which obviously happened after the Flood. Post number 5 covers Babel which was built when the people did not obey God following the flood. God told the people to multiply and spread all over the earth Instead they decided to stay in one place and build a city and a tower. We see what God did. This posting number 6 goes back to the entrance and picks up some areas not previously covered.
