After Wedding Brunch, Bastani home, Sept. 1, 2013

Today is another big day here in California as the after wedding brunch is held at the Bastani home with family and neighbors invited to enjoy some delicious food and to see and congratulate the newly weds Corey and Nicku. There is a flurry of activity inside and outside as every thing is being readied for the quests

The food was delicious and was prepared by Sideboard, Neighborhood Coffeehouse and Kitchen in Danville, California and was prepared for 87 quests although I did not get a chance to count them but there were a lot of people present. The food consisted of the following:

French Cream with Fresh Berries

asparagus and Goat Cheese Breakfast Pudding

Mac & Cheese

Aged White Cheddar, Gruyere, Toasted Bread Crumbs

Chicken Breast Salad

Baby Lettuce, Grilled Chicken Breast

Avocado, Point Reyes Blue Cheese, Balsamic Vinaigrette

Spinach Salad

Fresh Baby Spinach, Fresh Berries, Red Onion, Feta, Apple Vinaigrette

Slider Sandwiches

Meatloaf, Chicken Salad, Veggie

Assorted Sweet Breads, Cookies & Brownies

Beverages:

Needless to say a wonderful time was had by all and after eating all the wonderful food by the time these sunsets rolled around every one was certainly ready to sit down and relax and reflect on the beautiful events of the past days..

I will close this posting with a prayer for Gods blessing and protection of Corey and Nicku as they embark on this new journey together and I wish them every happiness.

There will be a couple of updates to this posting to fill in some information that I am sure I have missed or omitted.
