Hello Everyone, Today Janice and I went back to The Reagan Presidential Library and Museum for a couple of things then we took off to find and tour the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. It was not that far away as far as distance is concerned but the traffic was another matter. Mile after mile of just stop and go crawling traffic. We got in free with the new membership pass I bought which was a nice change. I think the Nixon museum is better organized as far as exhibits is concerned than the Reagan Museum. Reagan has Air Force 1 in it and Nixon has a duplication of the East Room in it. The displays at the Nixon facility were organized by date and event much like the Truman Museum. I was really impressed with the Nixon museum.
Following our departure from the Nixon facility we headed for Redlands, CA. to find the Abraham Lincoln Shrine. Again extremely heavy traffic and knowing we would never make it in time before the Shrine closed at 5 P. M. we stopped here in Moreno Valley to spend the night. We plan to drive on to the Shrine in the morning and just look at it because it does not open until 1 P. M. Perhaps we can take a few photographs and head back to Pleasanton, CA. It has been a tiring day but a good day. So good night and remember God loves you and so do I.
Grandpa Bill
